Humans
Humans are the foundational patterns from which society emerges. Each individual is a complex, sentient system—an instance of the Soul—contributing to the larger pattern that is civilization.
Biologically, humans are classified as Homo sapiens. But ontologically, a human is any being with a Soul, capable of complexity, of relation, and of forming society.
If other such beings were to exist—sentient and socially emergent—they too should be considered human, regardless of biology.
