Humans

Humans are the foundation of society. They are the patterns that constitute the larger pattern of society.

Originally, humans were classified as Homo sapiens, and as of this writing, they remain the only known humans. However, if there were ever other beings with a soul capable of forming a society, they should also be considered humans.
